Building Connection, Commitment and Change

INDIA 2009 Cost

The Centre for Social Response ensures that payment is made for all services and hospitality in the host country and that the voluntary organisations and villages that host us do not have their small resources depleted by our program. We use locally owned and operated businesses to ensure our expenditure assists the local economy.

Participants in the Community Leadership Program arrange their own travel to and from India using the travel agent and flights of their choice. You may arrive in India earlier or choose to stay on after the program finishes. We ask that participants arrive in Mumbai by noon on Monday 5th January 2009 where we will all meet up and proceed to Pune.

The cost for the full program in India is $4,000 (Australian dollars) and includes

• All costs for the program including tuition, trainers and facilitators, translators, conference facilities etc
• Unique access to project sites and villages
• All accommodation for the duration of the program
• Meals (except on the few free days)
• All internal air, train and road travel
• All tips and gratuities
• All administration costs of the program

Not included in the cost is

• Your passport and Visa application costs
• Your medical and travel insurance costs
